Welcome to periplast

periplast GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-size family business which is situated in Wuppertal. We have been producing injection molded, precision plastic parts and other articles for more than 40 years since our beginnings in 1978, when we manufactured plastic spools (snap spools and tubes) for the textile industry. Today, we can offer our customers innovative solutions which range from planning through production and assembly, to the final packaging of plastic articles ready for sale. Articles can be manufactured in small-, medium- and large-sized series and can be printed, using a multicolor pad printing process. Our own moldmaking facility at our Romanian location guarantees the reliable use of injections molds at any time. Molds may be modified, optimized or newly built in-house.

About us

periplast develops and produces customized articles made from thermoplastic polymers with desired (quality) characteristics. The goal of research and development is maximum sustainability.

Due to the ecological problems, we have been working increasingly on the development of real sustainability solutions for several years, initially in the field of the multiple use of cardboard packaging and in the use of our own regrinded material. After that, regranulates were tested in consultation with some customers and could be used without any problems in some product lines. Since 2020, we have been researching a material that meets the sustainability requirement 100% and may be processed on conventional injection molding machines at the same time. With periamyl®, we have developed a thermoplastic natural material based on starch.

The S.C. periplast production S.R.L. has a quality management system and has been certified according to the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

In line with the corporate philosophy, the processes are geared to the goal of offering and supplying customers with products of a quality that meets their requirements and contributes to their corporate success. Pursuing this premise under economic, ecological and ethical aspects is a basic prerequisite for the long-term success of the company.
